A Note on Editions

Every work released under Lucena Vellori follows a disciplined edition structure. This is not a commercial decision. It is a commitment to the integrity of each work — to the idea that a work should exist in the world in a defined, finite form.

Unique works are released as single, unrepeatable prints. Once acquired, the work is permanently retired. Limited editions — typically three to five prints, plus a small number of artist proofs — are individually numbered, signed, and registered. When the edition is complete, no further prints are produced.

This structure ensures that every collector acquires a work of defined provenance and scarcity. It also ensures that the imprint's catalogue remains considered and manageable. We are not interested in volume. We are interested in the long-term relationship between a work and its owner.

All works are accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity and a registry entry that can be verified through this site.
