About This Work
Faces brings the Interior Geographies series to its most intimate scale, treating the human countenance as a site of constructed atmosphere. The work resists conventional portraiture, instead building its subjects from tonal fields and chromatic suggestion — faces emerge from and recede into the same atmospheric logic that governs the series’ architectural compositions.
