Purple Mexico
A dense, saturated field of violet and magenta — the Mexican landscape dissolved into pure chromatic intensity.
About This Work
Purple Mexico collapses a remembered landscape into a singular atmospheric event. Drawing from the charged light and colour of the Mexican interior, the work constructs a scene that is less topography than feeling — a heat-saturated field where architecture and terrain merge under a violet sky. The piece marks a turning point in the Constructed Atmospheres series, embracing maximal colour within the practice's characteristically restrained compositional logic.
