Red Threshold
A threshold saturated in deep crimson — passage and privacy rendered as a single field of colour and architecture.
About This Work
Red Threshold intensifies the Interior Geographies series’ investigation of passage and enclosure. A doorway or corridor is consumed by a dominant red that transforms architectural function into pure atmosphere. The work collapses the distinction between wall, light, and threshold — the red is simultaneously surface, illumination, and emotional charge. It is the most chromatically assertive work in the series, treating colour itself as an architectural element.
