Santa Fe
The desert Southwest rendered as chromatic event — adobe, dust, and sky collapsed into a single atmospheric plane.
About This Work
Santa Fe extends the Constructed Atmospheres series into the American Southwest, treating the distinctive light and terrain of New Mexico as raw material for atmospheric construction. The work dissolves the specifics of place — adobe walls, desert flora, open sky — into a unified field of warm earth tones and luminous haze. Like Purple Mexico before it, Santa Fe uses geography as a point of departure rather than a destination.
